Faith Gives Me Peace. Discipline Moves Me Forward.
"How do you stay calm when business gets hard?"
The honest answer?
I don't avoid uncertainty.
I still get what I call the entrepreneurial stomach flip.
That feeling when something changes unexpectedly.
When you're making a difficult decision.
When you're stepping into something you've never done before.
Entrepreneurship is full of moments like that.
What has changed over the years isn't that those moments disappear.
It's how I respond to them.
For me, everything starts with faith.
I truly believe there is a higher power watching over all of us.
If I'm leading with integrity, honesty, and doing the right things for the right reasons, I trust that I'm not carrying every burden alone.
That faith brings peace.
But peace alone doesn't build a business.
That's where discipline comes in.
Every morning I get up at 5:00 AM.
I open my computer.
I look at where I left off.
I review my to-do list.
Then I begin.
Not because every morning feels exciting.
Because discipline creates momentum.
I've learned that success isn't built on waiting until you feel motivated.
It's built by consistently showing up.
Even on the hard days.
Especially on the hard days.
For me, faith and discipline work together.
Faith reminds me that I'm not alone.
Discipline reminds me to keep moving forward.
When those two things work together, uncertainty becomes a little less overwhelming.
And that's a lesson I'll continue carrying with me.
